Candid or what .. “Yeah Yeas Yeahs”
Some time ago in 2004 when I first listened to few tracks from Yeah Yeas Yeahs’ Fever To Tell (2003–2004) it took me by surprise because I was not familiar with such a bizarre genre. Supposedly an 'Indie Rock' style it sounded rather weird (in a good way) and new. I bought the album in haste the same day and it still is one of my favorite.
Karen O, the female vocalist of the band, I find her way Candid than Lady Ga Ga. She is just out of control on the stage. Her sense of dressing is so unique and new, so, “Out of the Box”. It is like love hate thing, either you love it or you hate it.
Since band’s first (recognized) album “Fever To Tell” it has sounded a bit mature in their latest album “It's Blitz!” (2008–2009).
